Amy was exposed to music at an early age. At the age of 5 she began playing the piano and by 13 she had started writing her own songs. In 2003 they released their first album "Fallen" which went on to become a worldwide success. The single "Bring Me To Life" reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The band went on to release three more albums - The Open Door (2006), Evanescence (2011), Synthesis (2017). They have sold more than 17 million albums worldwide and earned numerous awards including two Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Hard Rock Performance in 2004.
