Brandon Cole "Bam" Margera is an American former professional skateboarder, stunt performer, television personality, and filmmaker. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s as one of the stars of the MTV reality stunt show Jackass and subsequent sequels.
Brandon Cole "Bam" Margera was born on September 28, 1979, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. His zodiac sign is Libra and his ethnicity is Caucasian. He is the son of April Margera and Phil Margera, and he has two siblings: Jess Margera and Vincent Margera.
Margera got his start in entertainment as a professional skateboarder at the age of eleven. In 1999, he joined the cast of MTV’s hit show “Jackass” alongside Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and Chris Pontius. The show featured him performing outrageous stunts and pranks that eventually led to his own spinoff show “Viva La Bam” which ran from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, he released his feature film debut “Haggard” which he wrote, directed, produced and starred in himself. It was followed by the 2007 sequel “Minghags” which was also written, directed and produced by him.
Throughout 2008-2009 Margera appeared on various reality series such as “Dr Phil” for an intervention due to alcohol abuse and VH1's “Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew” where he sought treatment for his addiction issues. He later went on to appear as a contestant on NBC's “The Apprentice: Los Angeles” in 2011.
More recently in 2017 he announced that he would be taking a break from entertainment due to personal issues but returned the following year when it was announced that he would be appearing in the Jackass reboot movie "Jackass 4". He has since appeared in other films such as "Paranormal Movie" (2020) and "Industrial Accident: The Story of Wax Trax! Records" (2019).
