Belinda Peregrín Schüll, mononymously known as Belinda, is a Spanish-Mexican singer, songwriter and actress. She has lived in Mexico City, Mexico since a young age.

Belinda Peregrín Schüll, better known as Belinda, was born on August 15, 1989 in Madrid, Spain. She is a Mexican singer and actress of Spanish and Lebanese descent. Belinda began her career at the age of 10 when she appeared in the children's telenovela “Alegrijes y Rebujos”. She then went on to appear in various other programs such as “Amanecer Contigo” and “Cómplices al Rescate”. In 2004 she released her debut album, “Belinda”. The album included hit singles such as "Lo Siento" and "Bella Traición".
In 2008 she released her second studio album, “Utopía”, which included the single "Ni Freud ni Tu Mamá". Her third studio album, “Carpe Diem”, came out in 2011 and featured the smash hit single "Egoísta". Belinda has also made a name for herself as an actress appearing in films like “Alma de Héroe” (2008) and television series like “Cuestión de Películas” (2016). She also starred in her own reality show entitled “Beli-tentación: La Isla del Amor” (2007). Her latest album, Catarsis (2014), includes collaborations with Wisin & Yandel and Pitbull.
