Brandon Bruce Lee was an American actor and martial artist. Establishing himself as a rising action star in the early 1990s, he landed his breakthrough role as Eric Draven in the dark fantasy film The Crow. Lee's career, however, was cut short by his accidental death during The Crow's production.
Brandon Bruce Lee was born on February 1, 1965 in Oakland, California. He was the son of martial arts legend and actor Bruce Lee and Linda Lee Cadwell. His parents divorced when he was three years old and his father passed away unexpectedly when he was eight. After his father's death, he moved with his mother to Los Angeles where he attended high school.
He started acting at age 18 and made his feature film debut in “Kung Fu: The Movie” in 1986. In 1989, he starred in the action-thriller “Laser Mission” and “Showdown in Little Tokyo” alongside Dolph Lundgren. In 1992, he had a starring role in the classic martial arts film “Rapid Fire” and played a supporting role in the drama “The Crow” which catapulted him to international fame. Unfortunately, during filming of the movie, Lee tragically died after an accident on set involving a prop gun that malfunctioned.
Lee's legacy lives on through his films and his influence on martial arts cinema today. He is remembered for being a talented actor who brought energy and charisma to every performance as well as being an avid martial artist who earned a black belt in Jeet Kune Do from his father before his passing.
