Brenda Song is an American actress. Born in California, Song began her career at the age of six, working as a child model.
Brenda Song was born on March 27, 1988 in Carmichael, California. She is an American actress and singer who first gained fame as a child star on the Disney Channel. Her parents are of Hmong and Thai descent. She has two younger brothers named Timmy and Nathan.
Song began her career when she was just six years old after being scouted at the International Modeling & Talent Association competition in Los Angeles. She landed roles in several commercials before making it big on Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and its spin-off film The Suite Life Movie (2011).
In 2010, Song earned a lead role as London Tipton in Disney's 2011 comedy sequel The Suite Life on Deck: The Movie. She also starred in Fox sitcoms New Girl (2012-2018) and Dads (2013-2014). In 2014, she had a recurring role on Scandal and appeared in films such as Nancy Drew (2007), First Kiss (2010), Special Delivery (2010) and Boogie Town (2012).
Since 2015, Song has been starring as London Tipton in the Disney series Descendants: Wicked World, which serves as a spinoff to the films Descendants (2015) and Descendants 2 (2017). Other recent roles include films like Secret Obsession (2019) and Changeland (2019). Aside from acting, Song has released two studio albums - Songs by Brenda Song (2003) and I'm Not Who I Was Before! (2006).
