Christina Victoria Grimmie (March 12, 1994 – June 10, 2016) was an American singer and songwriter from Marlton, New Jersey. She was a contestant on season six of The Voice and finished in third place. Grimmie first gained attention by posting covers of hit songs on YouTube and had accumulated over three million subscribers and over 200 million views.

Grimmie grew up in the Marlton area in South Jersey and began singing at age six when she joined her church worship band. At the age of sixteen, she attended her first open-mic night in Philadelphia where she performed her own original songs. After gaining recognition through social media, Grimmie released the EP Find Me in 2011 and began touring with Selena Gomez during her We Own the Night Tour in 2012. In 2014, she released her debut studio album With Love which peaked at number four on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart. Following this, Grimmie auditioned for season six of The Voice finishing as runner-up to Josh Kaufman.

After The Voice, Grimmie continued to tour independently until 2015 when she announced her departure from Island Records to begin working with a new team and label. In 2016, she released two EPs titled Side A (2016) and Side B (2016). On June 10th 2016, Christina Grimmie was killed after a concert in Orlando while signing autographs for fans. Her death generated an outpouring of grief from many of her peers including Adam Levine who offered to cover all funeral costs.
