Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard Sr. is an American professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association. He played college basketball for the Weber State Wildcats and earned third-team All-American honors in 2012.
Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard was born on July 15, 1990, in Oakland, California. His zodiac sign is Cancer and his ethnicity is African-American. Lillard entered the 2012 NBA Draft after completing his junior season at Weber State University and was selected as the 6th overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers. In 2013, he became just the fourth rookie since 1950 to record 1,500+ points and 500+ assists in his debut season, joining Oscar Robertson (1960), Isiah Thomas (1981) and Tyreke Evans (2009). In 2014, he made his first All-Star appearance becoming only the second Blazer ever to be named an All-Star starter as a rookie (Clyde Drexler). He has gone on to be selected as an All-Star six times throughout his career so far. He also won Rookie of The Year honours in 2013 and holds numerous accolades including winning four Skills Challenges between 2013 – 2018
Lillard currently plays for the Portland Trail Blazers whom he helped reach their fifth consecutive playoffs in 2019. Off the court Lillard is heavily involved with community work through his own “Respect 4 Our Elders” program which provides elderly citizens with necessary items such as clothes or food during Thanksgiving or Christmas time throughout Oregon communities
