Jeannie Mai is an American television personality and stylist. She is best known for hosting the talk show The Real alongside Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Amanda Seales. She also competed on the 17th season of Dancing with the Stars in 2020.

Jeannie Camtu Mai was born on January 4, 1979 in San Jose, California. She is of Vietnamese descent and belongs to the Xa Phuong ethnic group. Her parents are both immigrants from South Vietnam who left during the Vietnam War. Jeannie graduated from Independence High School in San Jose in 1997.

Mai began her career as a makeup artist and hairstylist for MAC Cosmetics in 2001. In 2003, she moved to Los Angeles and began appearing on television shows such as “Style Network’s How Do I Look?” She then appeared as a co-host on several daytime talk shows such as “The Real” and “The Tyra Banks Show". Mai also made appearances on “Hell's Kitchen", "Dancing with the Stars" and "Celebrity Apprentice".

In 2012, Mai joined the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” which aired until 2013. From 2016 to 2018, she hosted the online series “The Straight Talk with Jeannie Mai” for Yahoo! In 2019, she was cast as a participant on the reality show “Dancing with The Stars”.

Mai is married to rapper Freddy Harteis since 2017. She has an active lifestyle that involves hiking, running, swimming and yoga.
