He has been active on social media since 2011 and began his professional career in 2014 when he started his self-titled YouTube channel. As of April 2021, Jelly's channel has over 20 million subscribers and more than 5 billion views.
Jelly's content primarily consists of video game playthroughs, challenges and reactions to various videos. His most popular series is "Try Not to Laugh", where he reacts to funny videos with his trademark humor and enthusiasm. He also posts vlogs about his life and travels, often with other YouTubers like Kwebbelkop, Slogoman and Sqaishey Quack.
