Joelle Joanie "JoJo" Siwa is an American dancer, singer, actress and YouTuber. She is known for appearing for two seasons on Dance Moms along with her mother, Jessalynn Siwa, and for her singles "Boomerang" and "Kid in a Candy Store".

Joelle Joanie Siwa, better known as JoJo Siwa, was born on May 19th, 2003 in Omaha, Nebraska. Her zodiac sign is Taurus and she has dual citizenship: American and Canadian. She is the daughter of Tom and Jessalynn Siwa. At a young age, she developed an interest in dance and began competing in regional competitions. In 2013, at the age of nine, she became a member of the Abby Lee Dance Company. This gave her exposure to millions of viewers on television show “Dance Moms”.
After appearing on the show for two seasons, Siwa decided to launch her own YouTube channel in July 2015. She posts videos about her everyday life, dance routines and music videos. She also posts vlogs about various events like theme parks, concerts and meet-and-greets with fans. In 2016, she released her first single entitled “Boomerang” which charted at number 10 on the Billboard Kid Digital Songs chart. The video for this song has accumulated over 900 million views on YouTube.
In 2017, she embarked on her first tour called “Kidz Bop Live Tour” where she performed alongside Kidz Bop Kids at various venues across North America. Later that year, Nickelodeon signed her to a talent deal making her one of their youngest stars ever signed onto their network at just 14 years old. The following year in 2018, she released another single titled “High Top Shoes” which quickly garnered over 40 million views within a week of its release.
Siwa is now one of the most influential personalities in America with over 15 million followers across all social media platforms combined. She has become an icon amongst Gen Z youths and continues to inspire them through her music and positive messages online.
