Julian Charles John Lennon is an English musician. He is the son of Beatles member John Lennon and his first wife, Cynthia, and he is named after his paternal grandmother, Julia Lennon. Julian inspired three Beatles songs: "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", "Hey Jude" and "Good Night".

Julian Lennon was born on April 8, 1963 in Liverpool, England. He is the only son of John Lennon and Cynthia Powell, and his zodiac sign is Aries. His father was a founding member of The Beatles and his mother was an artist. Julian’s parents separated when he was very young and he moved to London with his mother while his father remained in Liverpool. 

     Julian has been involved with music since he was young, starting out playing piano and drums before turning to guitar and bass at the age of 10. He released his first single “Too Late for Goodbyes” in 1984 which reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart. He followed up this success with a solo album entitled Valotte, released in 1985 which contained several hit singles such as “Valotte” and “Say You’re Wrong”. His next album The Secret Value of Daydreaming was released in 1986 and featured the hit single “Stick Around”. 

     In 1989 Julian released his third studio album Mr. Jordan which featured two Top 30 singles in the UK Singles Chart. He went on to release two more albums; Help Yourself (1991) and Photograph Smile (1998). In 2005 he released an acoustic version of his debut album Valotte titled Valotte Acoustic featuring newly recorded acoustic versions of all 10 songs from the original version as well as 3 bonus tracks from other albums. His most recent release is Everything Changes (2011), a collection of new studio material that features collaborations with various artists including Macy Gray and Sting. 

     Aside from music Julian is also involved in philanthropic projects such as White Feather Foundation which works towards sustainable development projects around the world.
