Kyrie Andrew Irving is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He was named the Rookie of the Year after being selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft.
Kyrie Andrew Irving was born on March 23, 1992, in Melbourne, Australia. His zodiac sign is Aries, and his ethnicity is African-American. He is the son of Drederick and Elizabeth Irving, and he has two siblings: a sister named Asia and a brother named London. Irving grew up in West Orange, New Jersey and attended St. Patrick High School before transferring to Montclair Kimberly Academy for his senior year.

In 2018, he requested to be traded from Boston after requesting a trade at the end of 2017 but due to injuries, only played 60 games during his time there. He eventually got traded to his hometown team, Brooklyn Nets in July 2019.
Irving has been an All-Star six times over his career and also won an Olympic gold medal in 2016 with Team USA at the Rio Olympics. He has seen success both individually and with his teams throughout his career and is continuing to establish himself as one of the best players in basketball today.
