Dominique Armani Jones, better known by his stage name Lil Baby, was born on December 3, 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer. Lil Baby began rapping in 2017 and released his first mixtape "Perfect Timing" the same year. His breakout single “My Dawg” charted on the Billboard Hot 100 that same year.

In 2018, he released his second mixtape "Harder Than Ever", which peaked at number three on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album featured guest appearances from Drake, Gunna and Offset. The following year he released his third mixtape "Street Gossip" which debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned two singles: “Yes Indeed” featuring Drake and “Close Friends”.

Lil Baby has been nominated for four awards including Best New Artist at the 2019 BET Awards. In 2020 he released his fourth studio album "My Turn" which debuted atop the US Billboard 200 chart and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He is also set to release a collaborative album with rapper 42 Dugg later this year.
