Aaron Paul Sturtevant was born on August 27, 1979 in Emmett, Idaho. His zodiac sign is Virgo, and his ethnicity is Caucasian. He is the son of Darla and Robert Sturtevant and has four siblings. He graduated from Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho in 1998. After high school, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.

Paul made his television debut in 1999, appearing on an episode of The Price is Right as a contestant. In 2001 he appeared on an episode of Beverly Hills 90210 and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. From there he had supporting roles on shows such as The Guardian (2002-2004), Veronica Mars (2005-2006) and Big Love (2006-2010). In 2009 he had a recurring role on Breaking Bad which earned him critical acclaim and three Emmy awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series from 2010 to 2012.

In 2013, Paul starred in the Need for Speed film adaptation as well as the Hulu Original series The Path (2016-2018). In 2017 he won a Critics' Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie Made for Television or Limited Series for his performance in the Netflix original movie The Most Hated Woman in America. He also voiced Todd Chavez on BoJack Horseman (2014-2020) which earned him two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance

Paul's other notable performances include roles in films like Eye of the Hurricane (2012), Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) and Triple Nine (2015). His most recent projects include El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019), Westworld (2020) and Extraction 2: The Legend of Ravaging Dynasties (2021).
