Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born on May 5, 1988, in Tottenham, London, England. She is an English singer and songwriter. Her zodiac sign is Taurus and her ethnicity is British-Irish. She has an older brother named Cameron, who is a composer. Adele's mother, Penny Adkins, worked as a massage therapist and her father, Mark Evans, worked as a plumber before becoming a barman at the pub where Adele used to sing.

    At 15 years old, Adele got accepted into BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon and graduated two years later. During this time she wrote her first song entitled "Hometown Glory," which featured on her debut album 19 (2008). 19 earned her two Grammy awards in 2009: Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Chasing Pavements." In 2011 she released 21 which became one of the most successful albums of all time with hits such as "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You." It won six Grammy Awards including Album of the Year and Record of the Year for "Rolling in the Deep," making Adele the only artist to win these three awards twice. 

    In 2015 she released 25 which spawned more hit singles such as "Hello" and "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)." This album earned her five Grammys at 2017's ceremony, making her the first artist to win Album of the Year three times. As well as music, Adele has also appeared in movies such as 'The Devil Wears Prada' (2006) and 'Trolls World Tour' (2020). Additionally she has become an activist for causes such as ending homelessness in England after donating £1 million to charity.
