Alexander Draper Wolff is an American actor and musician. He first gained recognition for starring alongside his older brother Nat in the Nickelodeon musical comedy series The Naked Brothers Band, which was created by the boys' mother Polly Draper.

Alex Wolff was born on November 1, 1997 in New York City, New York. He is the second child of actress Polly Draper and jazz musician Michael Wolff and the older brother of actor Nat Wolff. Alex began playing drums at a very young age and has become an accomplished drummer and singer-songwriter.

At age eight, he started drumming in his father’s band, which eventually led to a full-time gig as a touring musician performing with such musical acts as The Naked Brothers Band, Demi Lovato, and Willy Mason. In 2011, Alex's first solo album called "The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie" was released. In 2014, he released his second album titled "Patriot," which included original songs co-written by his brother Nat.

Alex has also acted in films such as Paper Towns (2015), My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (2016) and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017). He starred alongside his brother Nat in the 2017 film “Patti Cake$” and earned himself an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Male Lead in 2018.

In addition to his music career and acting endeavors, Alex has also written several books including “This Is Our Music” (2013) and “Don't Follow Me (I'm Lost): A Memoir” (2017). He is currently working on his third book which will be released sometime in 2021.
