Annie Lennox was born on December 25, 1954 in Aberdeen, Scotland. She is a pop singer, songwriter and philanthropist who rose to fame as part of the duo Eurythmics with Dave Stewart. In 1975, she formed a band called The Tourists with Stewart and released several albums before disbanding in 1980.
