Kourtney Mary Kardashian was born on April 18, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. She is the oldest daughter of attorney Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner. She has three siblings; Kim, Khloé, and Rob. Kourtney attended Marymount High School, a Roman Catholic all-girls school in Los Angeles.

Kourtney first appeared on television in 2005 when she and her family starred in their own reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” which aired on E!. The series became an instant hit and has since spawned several spinoffs focused on individual members of the family.

In 2010, Kourtney began her own spinoff series “Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami” which chronicled her move to Miami with sister Khloé to open a second D-A-S-H store there. In 2011, she began another spinoff series entitled “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” which followed her move to New York City to open a third D-A-S-H store. In 2014 she started yet another spinoff “Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons” which followed their adventures in the Hamptons as they opened up yet another branch of D-A-S-H.

In addition to her television work, Kourtney has also ventured into other business endeavors such as launching a clothing line for Babies R Us called Kardashian Kids, writing books including “Strong Looks Better Naked” and creating various mobile apps including KardDASHian and KardFIT. Kourtney also cofounded the lifestyle website Poosh which is dedicated to helping people live a life that is both stylish and sustainable.
