She was born in Los Angeles, California and raised by parents Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli. Olivia is of mixed ethnicity as her father is Italian-American while her mother is of Irish and German descent.

At the young age of just 1 year old, Olivia became a child model appearing in print ads for Mattel, Guess Kids, Gap Kids, and other big brands. By the time she was 13 years old, she had already begun creating content for YouTube which soon earned her a large following. Her channel now has over 2 million subscribers who enjoy watching her videos about beauty, lifestyle, fashion tips and more.

In 2017 Olivia attended Red Carpet events such as the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards with many A-list celebrities. The same year she also started her own cosmetics line called “Olivia Jade Beauty” offering foundation sticks, lip glosses and eyeshadow palettes.

In 2019 it was announced that Olivia had been accepted to USC under false pretenses after her parents allegedly bribed college officials to get her in. This resulted in massive criticism from the public causing both Olivia’s career and personal life to suffer greatly. While she did not face any criminal charges due to lack of evidence, there are still ongoing investigations into the matter by the FBI.
