Ryan Matthew Dunn was an American stunt performer, television personality, actor and comedian. He was best known as one of the stars of the MTV reality stunt show Jackass and its film franchise.
Ryan Matthew Dunn was born on June 11, 1977 in Medina, Ohio. He had an older brother, Eric. His parents divorced when he was a teenager, and his mother remarried to a truck driver named Roger. Dunn attended the University of Akron for two years and then transferred to West Virginia University where he earned his degree in business management.
Dunn became a reality television star after appearing on MTV's Jackass 3D and later its spin-off series Wildboyz. He also starred in the movie Haggard: The Movie, which he co-wrote with his friend Bam Margera. Dunn was known for his daredevil stunts, often involving himself getting injured or humiliated.
