Sharon Osbourne was born on October 9, 1952 in London, England. She is a British-American media personality and television host. She is best known for her appearances on the reality television shows The Osbournes (2002–2005) and The X Factor UK (2004–2007, 2013–2017).

She began her career as an artist manager for Black Sabbath’s lead singer Ozzy Osbourne in 1979. In 2002, their lives were documented in the reality show The Osbournes, which aired from 2002 to 2005. During the show's run, Sharon became known for her candid manner and sharp wit. After The Osbournes ended its run, she appeared as a judge on talent competition series such as American Idol (from 2003 to 2011), The X Factor UK (from 2004 to 2007 and from 2013 to 2017), and America's Got Talent (from 2007 to 2019). She has also written several books about her life and career.

Sharon has since become a successful entrepreneur with her own clothing line called “The Sharon Collection”. In addition, she is an active philanthropist who has been involved with numerous charities including Women in Need, the Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy Initiative, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
