Tana Mongeau is an American YouTuber, internet personality, and singer-songwriter born on June 24, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is of French-Canadian and Italian descent. Mongeau attended Green Valley High School before dropping out to pursue her YouTube career full time.
Mongeau began her YouTube channel in 2015 after watching other YouTubers such as Jenna Marbles, Flula Borg and Shane Dawson gain success. She initially gained notoriety for her “storytime” videos but has since branched out into many different types of content including vlogs, pranks, and collaborations with other high profile creators. Her channel now boasts over 6 million subscribers and has become one of the most popular channels on the video sharing platform.
Mongeau is also active on other social media platforms such as Instagram where she currently has over 7 million followers. Mongeau also makes music under a separate alias which she uses to release original songs and covers of popular tracks. In 2018, she released her debut single “Hefner” which gained moderate success and was followed up by an EP entitled “Wishful Drinking” in 2019.
In addition to creating content for her own channel, Mongeau has appeared in various productions such as MTV's Ridiculousness and The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber. She was also featured in Jake Paul's 2017 documentary series "The Thinning". Mongeau is currently dating fellow YouTuber Jake Paul and they have been engaged since 2019 with plans to marry later this year.
