Tauheed K. Epps, known professionally as 2 Chainz, is an American rapper. Born and raised in College Park, Georgia, he initially gained recognition as one-half of the Southern hip hop duo Playaz Circle, alongside his longtime friend and fellow rapper Earl "Dolla Boy" Conyers.

2 Chainz is an American rapper, songwriter and actor from College Park, Georgia. He initially gained recognition as one half of the Southern hip hop duo Playaz Circle in 2007 along with his long-time friend and fellow rapper Earl "Dolla Boy" Conyers. The duo released their debut studio album Supply & Demand on October 26th, 2007 through Def Jam Recordings which included two hit singles: "Duffle Bag Boy" featuring Lil Wayne and "Gotta Lotta".

Since then 2 Chainz has gone on to establish a successful solo career releasing four studio albums between 2012 - 2019 including Based On A T.R.U Story (2012), B.O.A.T.S II: Me Time (2013) Pretty Girls Like Trap Music (2017) and Rap Or Go To The League (2019). His fifth album titled So Help Me God is set for release later this year in 2021 with features from Travis Scott, Rick Ross among others expected to appear on the tracklisting . 

Aside from music he has also acted appearing in several movies such as “Spy Hard”(1996), “The Fast And The Furious 6”(2013), “Entourage”(2015) and more recently Netflix's original movie “The After Party” alongside Wiz Khalifa, French Montana among other popular rappers within the industry today . 

2 Chainz continues to have a strong presence within Hip Hop culture even 20 years into his career having been nominated for 8 Grammy Awards across various categories such as Best Rap Song ("No Lie"), Best Rap Performance ("Mercy") amongst several others throughout his discography thus far .
