She began to dance at the age of five and started her professional career when she appeared in the music video for Missy Elliott's "Work It" in 2002.

Stoner went on to work with other musicians such as Eminem and Will Smith. In 2003, she made her acting debut in “Cheaper by the Dozen” as Sarah Baker, a role for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award. She continued to appear in various films throughout her career and has also had guest appearances on shows such as “That '70s Show” and “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.”

In 2006, she released her first album titled “The Alyson Stoner Project” which featured songs written by both herself and other artists. She also toured with several prominent artists including Justin Timberlake and started hosting her own show called “Alyson On The Move!” which aired on Tr3s/MTV. She has also starred in Disney Channel Original Movies such as “Camp Rock” (2008) and its sequel (2010). 

In 2011, Stoner lent her voice to the character Isabella Garcia-Shapiro for the hit animated series “Phineas & Ferb.” She has also done voice work for other projects such as the film “Planes: Fire & Rescue" (2014) and the video game “Kinect Disneyland Adventures” (2012). Her most recent work includes appearing in “Step Up All In” (2014), voicing Cassie in the animated series “Milo Murphy's Law” (2016-present), and starring alongside Adam Sandler in Netflix's “Murder Mystery” (2019).
