Apryl Jones

Apryl Jones was born on December 15, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois, U.S. She is best known for starring in the reality television series “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” from 2014 to 2017, and for being a model, social media influencer, singer, and songwriter. Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius, and her mother has Taiwanese, Chinese, with Mongolian ancestry, while her father has African-American with Native American ancestry.

Jones has always wanted to be in the music and entertainment industry. During her childhood, she developed an interest in acting and singing and when she was 14, she joined a singing group named Callareign, where she remained as a vocalist until her late teens. After she graduated from high school, she attended the University of Chicago and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Science. In her first job, she worked as a medical examiner at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital but left the job shortly after she started to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

In addition to “Love & Hip Hop,” Jones is also known for her multiple appearances in films and television series such as “You Hitting That,” “Angel,” “Casting the Net,” and most recently in “For the Love of Jason.” The first competition that Jones auditioned for was “American Idol” and also for the “Pussycat Dolls — Search for The Next Doll,” however, she didn’t go far on both shows until she landed a regular role on the VH1 series “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” which helped her stake her claim and wealth in the entertainment industry.
