Joey Sasso, born on December 13, 1993, is an actor and reality T.V. star best known for winning the Netflix game show “The Circle” in 2020.
Joey Sasso was born on December 13, 1993 in Rochester, New York. When the Italian-American was six years old, he began acting in stage plays in a hometown theater company. Sasso was so passionate about making films that he moved to Los Angeles only one month after graduating from high school. Hitting the ground running, Sasso took parts in various commercials and minor acting roles while learning from some of Hollywood’s best mentors and teachers to refine his acting skills.
In 2015, Sasso achieved recognition for his role in “Sinister 2,” where he played a minor but memorable role. A year later, he starred in “Life Briefly” alongside Ashley Judd, Bill Paxton, and Ty Simpkins. Unfortunately, the film director Dan Ireland passed away, which placed the movie on hold. Sasso didn’t give up and soon landed a supporting role in the comedy film “They Want Dick Dickster” in 2018.
The year 2020 was big for Sasso. He was selected to be featured in the Netflix series “The Circle,” a dating and reality show similar to “Big Brother.” Along with other contestants, Sasso lived in an apartment complex and got to know his neighbors through a social media app before competing against each other to be voted the most popular contestant. He was one of two contestants who wasn’t a catfish, forming a relationship with Miranda Bissonnette. Sasso’s humble, honest, and respectful persona earned him many fans, and was crowned the first-ever winner of “The Circle.” His name thus became synonymous with reality T.V. Aside from this, he also does modeling and is a very active social media influencer on multiple platforms.
