Ashley Michele Greene was born on February 21, 1987 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is an American actress and model who is best known for her role as Alice Cullen in the Twilight film series. Her zodiac sign is Pisces and her ethnicity is Caucasian. She was raised by her parents Joe and Michele Greene, both U.S. Navy veterans. She has two siblings, a brother named Joe Jr. and a sister named Megan who is also an actress.
Greene attended high school at Wolfson High School in Jacksonville, where she graduated in 2005 with honors. After graduating from high school, she attended University of California - Los Angeles and then transferred to University of California - Santa Cruz to pursue a degree in English Literature.
Greene began her acting career with small roles in television shows such as Crossing Jordan (2005), Desire (2006) and Punk'd (2007). In 2008 she had her breakthrough role when she was cast as Alice Cullen in the Twilight Saga films which propelled her fame to new heights. Since then she has gone on to star in other films such as Skateland (2010), The Apparition (2012), CBGB (2013) and Urge (2016).
In addition to acting, Greene has also done modeling work for magazines such as GQ Italia, Maxim, Vanity Fair Italia and Elle Germany.
