Cazzie David is an American actress and writer best known for her role as Erika on the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm. She was born in Los Angeles, California on May 10th 1994 to parents Larry David, creator of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Laurie Lennard. She has a younger sister named Romy who is also an actor.

Cazzie attended Emerson College in Boston where she studied Writing for Film and Television. During college, she created a web series called “The Realest Real Housewife” which gained some recognition from television outlets like Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. After graduating in 2017, she wrote for various comedy shows including Saturday Night Live, Showtime’s White Famous, and Amazon’s Red Oaks. 

In 2019, she starred in the Netflix original movie Ivanov alongside Noah Centineo and Ryan Reynolds. She had a recurring role on Hulu’s Shrill where she played the character Audrey. Cazzie is also set to star in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Physical alongside Rose Byrne as well as the Paramount Network project Paradise City with Andy Biersack and Bella Thorne. 

In addition to acting and writing, Cazzie has made several appearances on talk shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote her work. She is currently based out of Los Angeles where she continues to pursue her career in entertainment.
