Chris Pratt was born on June 21, 1979, in Virginia, Minnesota. His zodiac sign is Gemini and his ethnicity is Caucasian-American. He is the son of Kathleen Louise (Indahl) and Daniel Clifton Pratt, a former mining engineer and salesman. Chris was raised in Lake Stevens, Washington, with two younger siblings, Cully Pratt and Angie Pratt. He graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1997 but did not attend college.

Pratt started his career as a teenager working at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company restaurant in Maui, Hawaii. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and made his TV debut in 2000 on "Everwood". Since then he has starred in numerous films including: "Moneyball", "Zero Dark Thirty", "Delivery Man", "Guardians of the Galaxy", and "Jurassic World". In addition to acting, he has done voice work for video games like Lego Dimensions and The Lego Movie Video Game.

In 2014, Chris won the MTV Movie Award for Best Male Performance for his role in Guardians of the Galaxy. In 2015 he won Critics' Choice Award for Best Actor in a Comedy for his performance in 'Jurassic World'. The same year he also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2017 he was awarded a People's Choice Award for Favorite Movie Actor.

Chris is currently married to actress Anna Faris and they have one child together named Jack.
