Cooke went on to attend New York University and graduated with a degree in Art History. After college, he went to work for Gagosian Gallery as an art gallerist. During his time at Gagosian, he worked closely with prominent contemporary artists such as Richard Prince, Damien Hirst, and Cindy Sherman. In 2016, Cooke left Gagosian to join Gladstone Gallery as their director of digital strategy.
