Elle King is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actress, born on July 3rd 1989 in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of comedian Rob Schneider and former model London King. Elle was raised in a musical household, with her father playing guitar and writing songs from a young age. She began to teach herself instruments such as the guitar and harmonica early on in her career.

Elle released her first EP The Elle King EP in 2009 under the name “Swingin’ Tidings". After a brief stint as a member of a folk band called "The Bushwackers", she recorded her debut full-length album Love Stuff in 2015. The lead single “Ex's & Oh's" peaked at number 10 on Billboard Hot 100, earning her two Grammy nominations for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. In 2017 she released her second studio album Shake the Spirit.

Outside of music, Elle has also acted in films such as Wild Cherry (2009) and Hotel Artemis (2018). In addition to this, Elle has made appearances on television shows such as Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Voice. She also co-hosted an online series called "Good Beer Hunting Presents: Brew Dogs" which aired on Esquire Network from 2014 - 2016.
