Dakota Laden is a filmmaker, producer and Reality-TV star originally from Lakeville, Minnesota. He is known for his work on Trail to Terror and Destination Fear.
It was while he was in high school that Dakota Laden realized he had a different kind of interest. While he would still be quite interested in filmmaking, he realized he had a passion for exploring scary and haunted locations. He combined both interests and made a career out of it before even learning how to drive.
In 2011, Laden shared a YouTube series inspired by his favorite T.V. show at the time, “Ghost Adventures,” which would later earn him an actual appearance on the show after gaining Zak Bagans’s attention. In 2015, he launched a paranormal documentary, “Trail to Terror,” alongside his sister Chelsea and best friend Tanner Wiseman. Because of his paranormal background and exceptional camera work, Laden was invited by Bagans to officially become part of the “Ghost Adventures” family, which perfected his paranormal investigating skills.
As you can probably imagine, his passion for the supernatural took a whole new turn in the following years. In 2019, Travel Channel premiered Laden’s paranormal reality T.V. series “Destination Fear.” The success was phenomenal, and the show scored a second season in the same year. In 2021, Discovery+ joined the team and also started airing “Destination Fear,” on the Travel Channel for a third season. On May 18, 2022, “ComicBook” announced a new season of “Destination Fear.” We cannot wait for the end of the year.
There’s nothing that can stop Laden from reaching his goal. He has succeeded as a filmmaker and actor.
