She gained prominence for her starring roles as Jade West in the Nickelodeon series Victorious, and as Fallon Carrington on The CW revival of Dynasty. Gillies made her Broadway debut at age 15 in the musical 13, playing the character of Lucy.

Elizabeth Egan Gillies, born July 26th 1993, is an American actress and singer from Haworth, New Jersey. She began her career on Broadway at the age of 15, gaining recognition for her role in the musical 13. She then went on to star in a variety of television shows and films including Victorious (2010-2013), Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2015-2016) and Dynasty (2017-present).

Gillies started taking acting classes at the age of 12 and soon thereafter began auditioning for roles. She made her professional stage debut in a national tour of the musical The Cat in the Hat at age 14. In 2008, she starred as Lucy in the original Broadway cast of 13. Her performance earned her a nomination for a 2009 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical.

In 2010, Gillies was cast in Nickelodeon's Victorious as Jade West and appeared in all 60 episodes until its end in 2013. During this time she also featured in several episodes of iCarly playing Gigi Silveri. In 2015, Gillies joined Denis Leary's show Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll playing Ava and stayed with it until its ending two years later. She currently stars as Fallon Carrington on The CW's rebooted series Dynasty since 2017 to present day.

Gillies has also contributed to several projects as a voice actor including Winx Club: The Mystery of the Abyss, Winx Club: Beyond Believix and Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. Additionally, she released her debut single “You Don’t Know Me” along with an EP titled “Life of the Party” which consisted of songs she wrote or co-wrote throughout her teens and early twenties.
