Hayley Nichole Williams is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and businesswoman who is best known as the lead vocalist, primary songwriter, and keyboardist of the rock band Paramore.
Hayley Nichole Williams was born on December 27, 1988, in Meridian, Mississippi. Her zodiac sign is Capricorn and her ethnicity is Caucasian. She is the daughter of Joey and Cristi Williams and the youngest of four siblings. Williams was raised in a Christian home by her mother who was a hairdresser and her father who worked as an employee at Meridian’s West Hills Mall.
At age 13, she was introduced to rock music through some of her older brother's CDs and fell in love with it. At age 14, she began writing lyrics for songs and started playing guitar. In 2003, she met future Paramore bandmates Josh Farro and Zac Farro at school when they were all part of a local punk rock band called The Factory. The band released their first album “All We Know Is Falling” in 2005. The album had moderate success but it was their 2007 release “RIOT!” that really put them on the map with hits like “Misery Business” and “Crushcrushcrush” bringing them mainstream attention.
In 2009, after a brief hiatus due to internal conflicts within the group, Paramore returned with their third album “Brand New Eyes” which achieved commercial success and earned them two Grammy nominations. Since then they have continued to release successful albums such as their 2013 self-titled album which featured hit singles "Still Into You" and "Ain't It Fun".
In addition to her work with Paramore, Williams has also ventured into solo projects such as providing vocals for Zedd's 2015 single "Stay The Night" as well as releasing her own solo material under the name Petals For Armor I (2020) and II (2021).
