When India Royale was born in 1995, social media (one of her main sources of income) was non-existent. Royale grew up in Chicago, U.S., with two older sisters and one older brother. Although Royale is mainly known for her big social media presence, she’s much more than that. She is an entrepreneur, Fashion Nova ambassador, model, fashion guru, and our ultimate favorite, a mother of two beautiful daughters.
Royale joined the ranks of motherhood in 2014 when she gave birth to her first daughter Skylar Banks. It was three years later that Royale met her soon-to-be husband and the father of her second daughter, Lil Durk. Royale and Durk started sparking dating rumors in 2017 and have been in a relationship ever since. On October 31, 2018, Royale and Durk welcomed their first daughter, Willow Banks, into the world. In 2019, Royale decided to build a legacy through her talents by launching her affordable and cruelty-free beauty and hair product line.
India Royale Beauty was an instant success, and the business page reached 25k followers in a matter of days on Instagram. Today, India Royale Beauty has customers worldwide including hair salons that distribute her products. Royale made her beauty products available to be shipped worldwide and launched a mobile app in 2021 for more convenient shopping. At the end of last year, on December 19, Durk surprised his fans and Royale when he went down on one knee during a concert to propose to India Royale.
