Jihyo (born Park Ji-soo on February 1, 1997) is a South Korean singer, songwriter and rapper. She is the leader of the K-pop girl group TWICE. Jihyo was born in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. She has one brother who is three years younger than her. She attended Hanlim Multi Art School for vocal and dance classes.

At the age of 10, Jihyo became a trainee under JYP Entertainment after winning a contest held by the company. Following this, she appeared on the survival shows SIXTEEN in 2015 and Idol School in 2017 before debuting with TWICE in October 2015. In addition to being the group's leader, she also served as their main vocalist and visual member until 2018 when Momo was added to take over those roles.

Aside from her group activities, Jihyo has participated in various solo activities such as singing OSTs for dramas including "Like A Star" for The Crowned Clown (2019) and "Someone You Loved" for The World of the Married (2020). She has also featured on tracks for other artists such as Crush's "Sofa" (2017) and Heize's "Don't Know You" (2019). Moreover, she made her acting debut with a minor role in the drama My Holo Love (2020).
