Steven Victor Tallarico, known professionally as Steven Tyler, is an American singer, best known as the lead singer of the Boston-based rock band Aerosmith, in which he also plays the harmonica, piano, and percussion. He is known as the "Demon of Screamin'" due to his high screams and his powerful wide vocal range.

Steven Tyler was born on March 26, 1948, in Yonkers, New York. His zodiac sign is Aries, and his ethnicity is Jewish-American. He is the son of Susan Blanchard and Victor Tallarico and has two sisters named Linda and Mia. As a child, Tyler showed an interest in music and started playing drums at the age of eight. He attended Roosevelt High School in Yonkers until 1967 when he dropped out to pursue his musical career.

Tyler's professional music career began with a band called The Strangeurs which went on to become Aerosmith in 1971. The band soon gained mainstream success with their debut album “Aerosmith” released in 1973 which included the hits “Dream On” and “Walk This Way”. Throughout the 70s and 80s Aerosmith experienced great success with their albums and singles including hit singles such as “Sweet Emotion”, “Crazy”, “Angel”, “Dude (Looks Like A Lady)”, and many more. In 1987 Aerosmith received their first Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for their song “Walk This Way”.

In 1984 Tyler also embarked on a successful solo career releasing his debut album titled “Out On A Limb” which featured the hits "Love Is Your Name" and "Piece of My Heart". Throughout his solo career Tyler released four solo albums in total which have all been certified gold or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In addition to his successful music career, Tyler has also had roles in TV shows such as Two And A Half Men and movies such as Armageddon (1998).
