Tim Horton was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and entrepreneur. He is best remembered for founding the Tim Hortons chain of coffee shops, which has become an iconic Canadian brand. Horton was also known as an outstanding defenseman during his long career in the National Hockey League (NHL).
