Tremaine Aldon Neverson, better known by his stage name Trey Songz, was born on November 28, 1984 in Petersburg, Virginia. He is an African-American R&B singer-songwriter and actor. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He is the son of April Tucker and Claude Neverson Jr., and he has two siblings: Alex and Forrest.

    Songz began singing at a young age and participated in talent shows as a child. He attended Petersburg High School, where he sang in the choral group and studied music theory and composition. After graduating from high school, he attended college for a year before dropping out to pursue his career in music full-time.

    In 2003, Songz released his debut album "I Gotta Make It", which peaked at number 20 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. The album spawned three successful singles with "Gotta Make It", "Gotta Go" and "Last Time". His second album "Trey Day" was released in 2007 and debuted at number 11 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling over 80,000 copies in its first week of release. The lead single from the album "Can't Help But Wait" reached number 14 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His third studio album titled "Ready" was released in 2009 and sold more than 240,000 copies in its first week of release and debuted at number 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

    Since then, Songz has released six additional albums including “Passion Pain & Pleasure” (2010), “Chapter V” (2012), “Trigga” (2014), “Tremaine The Album” (2017), “Back Home” (2020) and “To Whom It May Concern” (2021). He has also starred in several films including “Texas Chainsaw 3D” (2013) and “Brotherly Love” (2015).
