Ann Hart Coulter was born on December 8, 1961, in New York City. She is a conservative political commentator and author. She attended Cornell University where she earned a degree in history, then went on to the University of Michigan Law School and graduated with her law degree.

Coulter began writing opinion pieces for newspapers and magazines in the late 1990s. In 1998, she released her first book, High Crimes and Misdemeanors: The Case Against Bill Clinton. It became a bestseller and established Coulter as one of the most influential conservative voices of her generation.

In 2002, Coulter wrote her second book, Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right. This book was also a best seller and further cemented Coulter’s place as a leading conservative commentator and thinker. Her other books include Treason: Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terror (2003), How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must) (2004), Godless: The Church of Liberalism (2006), Guilty: Liberal “Victims” and Their Assault on America (2009), Demonic: How the Liberal Mob Is Endangering America (2011).

In addition to her writing career, Coulter is also an active speaker who has appeared at various events around the country including CPAC conferences as well as talk shows such as Fox News Channel’s Hannity & Colmes. She is also an occasional guest host on radio programs such as The Laura Ingraham Show.
