Bleta "Bebe" Rexha is an American singer and songwriter. After signing with Warner Records in 2013, Rexha received songwriting credits on Eminem's single "The Monster" and has also contributed songwriting to songs recorded by Shinee, Selena Gomez, and Nick Jonas.
Bebe Rexha was born Bleta Rexha on August 30, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York. Her zodiac sign is Virgo and her ethnicity is Albanian. She began a career in music at a young age, playing guitar and writing her own songs while attending elementary school.
In 2010, Rexha signed with Warner Brothers Records as a songwriter and wrote tracks for Selena Gomez, Nikki Williams, Pitbull and Cash Cash among others. It wasn't until 2013 when she released her debut extended play "I Don't Wanna Grow Up". Her first single off the EP "Take Me Home" peaked at number 79 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
In 2015, Rexha released her follow up EP "All Your Fault: Pt. 1" which featured the hit single "Me Myself & I" alongside rapper G-Eazy. The track reached number 7 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and became certified 5x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In 2017 she released her debut album "Expectations". The lead single from the record "Meant to Be" featuring Florida Georgia Line peaked at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 as well as topping both Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts.
Rexha has been nominated for multiple awards including one Grammy Award, two MTV Video Music Awards and one American Music Award.
