Chadwick Aaron Boseman was an American actor. During his two-decade career, Boseman received multiple accolades, including two Screen Actors Guild Awards, a Golden Globe Award, a Critics' Choice Movie Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award, and an Academy Award nomination.
Chadwick Aaron Boseman was born on November 29, 1976, in Anderson, South Carolina. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius and his ethnicity is African-American. Boseman attended T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson and later graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in directing. Following graduation, he moved to New York City to become an actor.
Boseman made his acting debut in 2003 on the television show "Third Watch." He went on to appear in several other television shows and movies, including "Law & Order," "ER," "Lincoln Heights," "Fringe," and "Justified." In 2018, Boseman portrayed T'Challa/Black Panther in Marvel's Black Panther which became a blockbuster hit worldwide, grossing over $1 billion at the box office. The role earned him numerous awards nominations including an Academy Award for Best Actor nomination. He reprised the role for Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and will do so again for Black Panther II which is set for release in 2022.
Outside of acting, Boseman has been vocal about social justice and working with charities like World Central Kitchen and Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation to support those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
