Dafne Keen Fernández is a Spanish-British actress who was born on January 4, 2005 in Madrid, Spain. She is the daughter of English actor Will Keen and Spanish actress María Fernández Ache. Dafne began her career in 2011, appearing in a minor role for the television series The Refugees. Since then, she has appeared in several television shows such as Doctor Who and His Dark Materials.

Keen has made her big screen debut in 2016 with the movie The Refugees, playing the lead role of Nani. Her performance was highly praised by critics and audiences alike. She later went on to appear in 2017's Logan, playing X-23 alongside Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart. For her performance, she earned several awards including 'Young British Performer of the Year' at the London Critics Circle Film Awards and 'Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role' at CinemaCon Awards.

In 2019, Keen starred in His Dark Materials as Lyra Belacqua, a young girl from another world searching for answers about her family's mysterious past. Her performance garnered widespread critical acclaim and she was nominated for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role in 2020.  In 2021, Dafne will star in The Sparks Brothers, a documentary about legendary rock duo Sparks and their influence on music over five decades.
