FKA Twigs (real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett) is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, and dancer born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England on January 16th 1988. She began her career as a backup dancer for the likes of Kylie Minogue and Ed Sheeran. In 2012 she released her first two EPs, "EP1" and "EP2", which gained her critical acclaim in the UK music scene.

In 2014 she released her debut album "LP1" to positive reviews. The album featured singles like "Two Weeks" and "Pendulum", which both charted in the UK charts. Her second album "Magdalene" was released in 2019 to critical acclaim and featured collaborations with Future, Skrillex, Nicolas Jaar and Jack Antonoff.

Twigs has also been involved with numerous fashion campaigns, including working with brands such as Nike, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen. She has also appeared on magazine covers such as Vogue Magazine, Dazed & Confused Magazine and W Magazine. Twigs is known for her unique visual style that incorporates elements of contemporary dance into her performances. 

Twigs' music is often described as experimental pop or alternative R&B due to its mix of electronic production techniques combined with soulful vocals.
