Holland Roden was born on October 7, 1986 in Dallas, Texas. She is an American television actress best known for her role as Lydia Martin in the MTV series Teen Wolf. She attended Hockaday School, an all-girls private school in Dallas. Roden graduated from UCLA in 2008 with a degree in Women's Studies and a minor in Social Sciences.

Roden began her career appearing in several short films and guest starring on shows such as Cold Case, Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, and CSI: NY before landing a recurring role on Lost from 2006 to 2007. She then went on to appear on Weeds, Community and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2011, she joined the cast of MTV's hit show Teen Wolf as the mysterious Lydia Martin.

Since then, she has gone on to make appearances in other notable projects such as The Night Shift, Chicago P.D., and Hulu's Into The Dark: My Valentine. She has also appeared in various music videos for Deaf Havana and Imagine Dragons among others. Aside from acting Roden is an advocate for animal rescue and regularly posts about causes she supports online.
