Kira Nicole Kosarin was born on October 7, 1997, in Boca Raton, Florida. Her zodiac sign is Libra and she is of Jewish descent. She began to take part in talent shows from the age of five and won several awards for singing, dancing and acting. She attended Park Vista Community High School in Lake Worth, Florida and graduated in 2015.

At the age of twelve, she started taking professional acting classes at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film & Theatre. It was there that she was discovered by a Nickelodeon casting director and was subsequently cast as Phoebe Thunderman in The Thundermans. For her role on the show, Kosarin has been nominated for numerous awards such as Kid's Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards.

In 2017, she appeared on an episode of Game Shakers as a guest star and also starred in XXX: Return Of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel that same year. In 2018, Kosarin starred alongside Wendi McLendon-Covey in the comedy film Chicken Girls: The Movie which was released on YouTube Red.

Apart from acting, Kira is also a singer-songwriter and has released two singles titled "Love Me Like That" and "Spy". She has also appeared as a model in several magazines including Cosmopolitan magazine's 'Fun Fearless Female' campaign.
