Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo, born on March 26, 1996 in Cabanatuan City, Philippines, is a Filipino television and film actress. She started her acting career at an early age as a child star in 2003 with the TV series Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real. She later gained recognition for her starring role in the primetime drama Mara Clara (2010–2011). Bernardo then starred in other television series such as Princess and I (2012–2013), Got to Believe (2013–2014), Pangako Sa 'Yo (2015–2016) and La Luna Sangre (2017–2018).

In 2013, Bernardo became part of Star Cinema's teen comedy film, Must Be... Love which earned over Php200 million at the box office. In 2017, she co-starred with Daniel Padilla in the romantic comedy movie Can't Help Falling In Love which also became a commercial success. The following year, she starred in the romantic drama film The Hows of Us alongside Padilla that broke box office records in the Philippines.

In 2018, Bernardo was awarded Best Actress by FAMAS Awards for her performance in The Hows of Us. She has also been included on various lists of the sexiest women in Asia and was chosen by People Asia magazine as one of 2019's People of the Year.
