Kris Wu (吴亦凡) was born on November 6th, 1990 in Guangzhou, China. He is a Chinese-Canadian actor, singer, and songwriter. His parents are both from Guangzhou and he has an older sister. Kris attended the International School of Beijing before moving to Vancouver, Canada at the age of 14 to pursue a career as an actor. 

He made his acting debut in the 2011 film “Somewhere Only We Know” where he starred alongside actress Gao Yuanyuan. His performance in the movie earned him the Best Newcomer Award at the 10th Annual Huading Awards. He then went on to star in a number of hit films such as “The Mermaid” and “Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back” in 2016 and “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” in 2017.

In 2013, Kris released his first single “Trouble Maker” which was a huge success leading him to become one of China's most popular male solo artists. In 2015, he released his first full-length album titled "6" which included hits such as "Juice" and "July". Since then he has released two more albums; "Antares" (2017) and "Song For You" (2019). 

Kris has also been active in several other industries including fashion, sports and gaming. He recently collaborated with Adidas Originals for their FW20 collection titled “Pure Game” which focused on modern streetwear designs inspired by basketball culture.
