LiAngelo Robert Ball is an American professional basketball player for the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA G League. Ball played for Chino Hills High School in California, where he won a state championship and achieved national success as a junior with his brothers Lonzo, and LaMelo, who are both current NBA guards.
LiAngelo Robert Ball was born on November 24, 1998, in Anaheim, California. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius and his ethnicity is African-American. He is the son of LaVar Ball and Tina Ball, and he has two brothers, Lonzo and LaMelo. As a child, LiAngelo was very active in sports and developed a passion for basketball at an early age.
LiAngelo attended Chino Hills High School in California where he began playing varsity basketball as a freshman. He helped lead the team to a state title before graduating in 2017. After high school, he committed to the University of UCLA to play college basketball but left the school after being suspended indefinitely due to a shoplifting incident during a team trip to China.
He then declared for the 2018 NBA Draft but went undrafted. He eventually signed with the Oklahoma City Blue of the G League in 2019. During his time with the Blue, he averaged 7 points per game and shot 35% from three-point range. He also appeared in 10 games for Lithuania's Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas during their 2018–19 season.
In 2020, LiAngelo joined BC Prienai of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and led them to their first playoff appearance since 2004 while averaging 11 points per game and shooting 40% from beyond the arc. On April 16th 2021, LiAngelo announced that he had signed with Los Angeles Clippers' developmental G League team Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario for the 2021–22 season.
