About

Devin Armani Booker was born on October 30, 1996, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His zodiac sign is Scorpio, and his ethnicity is African-American. He is the son of Veronica Gutiérrez and Melvin Booker, a former basketball player at the University of Missouri.

Booker attended Moss Point High School in Mississippi before transferring to Grandville High School for his senior year. During this time he received many awards, such as the All-USA Boys Basketball Team selection by USA Today in 2014 and 2015. He was also ranked number three in the ESPN 100 list for high school graduates that year.

Booker then decided to attend the University of Kentucky for college. During his one season there, he averaged 10 points per game and made the All-SEC Freshman team. He declared for the 2015 N.B.A Draft after his freshman season, being selected thirteenth overall by the Phoenix Suns.

In his rookie season with the Suns, he became only the third teenager in NBA history to score over 1,000 points in a single season behind Kevin Durant and LeBron James. Booker continued to improve each season and led the Suns to their first playoff berth since 2010 during the 2020-21 season. He was named an All-Star for the first time that same year as well as being named All-NBA Third Team for his performance throughout the regular season.

In addition to basketball, Booker has appeared in various films and television shows such as “Uncle Drew” (2018), “All-Star Weekend” (2019), and “The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart” (2020). He also has numerous endorsement deals with companies such as Nike and Foot Locker, among others.
